The Volleyball Academy of Maldives has announced the proposed dates for the upcoming Resort Volley League (RVL) 2026, set to bring together the nation’s top resort teams in another thrilling season of competition and sportsmanship.
According to the proposed schedule, the regional leagues will begin in early June and continue through July, leading up to the Resort Volley Championship in early August. The proposed league dates are as follows:
North Malé League: 6 – 22 June 2026
South Malé League: 11 – 24 June 2026
ADh League: 27 June – 10 July 2026
Baa League: 1 – 8 July 2026
Raa League: 13 – 22 July 2026
Women’s League: 15 – 21 July 2026
Resort Volley Championship: 30 July – 7 August 2026
The Volleyball Academy noted that the dates are tentative and may be adjusted depending on the number of participating teams and other logistical considerations.
One&Only Reethi Rah were crowned champions of the Resort Volley Championship 2025, while Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa finished as runner-up.
The Resort Volleyball League continues to serve as one of the premier sporting platforms in the Maldives, promoting teamwork, talent development, and community engagement across resort islands.
